To spend the morning or the afternoon navigating across Astilleros or Somo's estuary on a canoe, and discovering the incredible landscapes of complete natural surroundings embraced by water, is now an option within your arm’s reach. All you need to do is pack your swimsuit, sun protection, sunglasses and something to drink, as well as your swimming skills, and decide which of these two towns you prefer exploring. So let us give you a hand in choosing: 

• Astilleros is surrounded by 3 estuaries or "rías"; that of Solía, Carmen and the homonymous estuary of Astillero. A green landscape, with typically oceanic weather rich in vegetation and very beautiful landscapes. 

• Somo: also located within Santander's bay, here you will find plenty of beautiful beaches and green landscapes where you can take into the mountain air. You will be able to explore the Cubas estuary from the canoe, and fall in love with each stretch of this route.
