Description of Initiation descent in canoe Miera River 2 hours
In the fabulous Cantabrian landscape a frenetic wild activity takes place. One of the points where there is the most activity is on the banks of the Miera River. A natural space that you can explore through the canoe descent that we put at your disposal. And best of all, just 20 minutes from Santander.
After having chosen between a single or double canoe , you will start paddling down the river following one of our expert guides. As it is a simple route, with few points where the current is difficult, you will have the 2 hours that the activity will last, to contemplate the nature of your surroundings.
You will row through transparent waters in which salmon and trout have developed their lives. In addition, on each side of the river you will be able to see rich vegetation made up of pine, oak and beech forests; habitat of such spectacular species as the fox, polecat and otter.
You can do the activity alone (minimum 2 people) or in a group. Undoubtedly, a good opportunity to come with friends or to organize a team building.
*We need you to be a group of at least 4 people to carry out the activity.

We couldn't have had a better time. Lots of laughter shared with friends, enjoying the views of the landscape and on top in good weather.
The monitors are very nice, pleasant and quite close. It is appreciated to contract activities and that the attention is as received.

I made the descent with my 6 year old daughter and it was a wonderful walk. All the surroundings, landscape and fauna, my daughter does not forget to see the Kingfisher flying and perching near the canoe.
