Speleology in Cueva de Tibigracias, León level 2

If you are an adventurer and already have experience in the world of caving, this route that we offer you in the Tibigracias Cave will not leave you indifferent. Come and enjoy an incredible route through one of the best-known caves in the province of León.

It is a cave located in Las Hoces de Valdeteja, characterized by its 1000 meter route and 40 meter drop. It will be a route of 2 to 4 hours where previous experience is not necessary but you do need to have a good physical condition, since you will go through impressive cavities that they need agility and courage.

In this cave you will find an active underground river which you will cross while you go into the mountain. You will enjoy the large rooms and hidden corners full of karstic formations such as stalactites and stalagmites that will leave you speechless. You will drop down making paper in underground waterfalls of more than 10 meters and you will be able to crawl through the narrow steps that characterize the Tibigracias Cave.

It is important that you come prepared for the caving activity with the appropriate clothing such as mountain shoes, swimsuit, towel and change of clothes. The rest of the materials will be provided by our team of monitors and specialized guides at the start of the activity while they give you a brief talk about the development of the activity.
