Description of Initiation to mountaineering in Vallter 2000 8 hours
If you want to try the mountain climbing, Vallter 2000 is a perfect environment for it. We planned an introduction day, which you cannot quit.
We will work on the theoretical and practical parts. We will show you how to use ice axes and crampons in the correct way, the basic progressions techniques on the snow, the self-stop and some important aspects of safety.
It is a full day, so we recommend you to have a minimum physical condition. This will make the activity easier and it won't be so hard.
You must bring your own equipment (ice axes and crampons), lunch and water for the whole day, suitable clothes for cold and sunscreen.
We will wait for you in the first parking lot in Vallter 2000!
