It is the perfect course for those lovers of mountain skiing who want to progress and perfect their technique. This is not an introductory course, nor an intermediate level, so we assume that all participants know how to ski perfectly and want to enter the wonderful world of high mountain skiing in Los Picos of Europe.
In these 26 hours of course spread over two weekends or 4 days, we will cover different topics, with their corresponding theoretical and practical part .
Among the topics to be addressed we will find snow science practices, types of snow, formation of different types of snow, classification of avalanches, avalanches as a natural risk, high mountain rescue and their englacial action and progression protocols.
So you must bring your equipment prepared, if you wish you can rent it. The course includes safety material, and an expert mountain guide who will teach the classes.
For the course to take place, a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 5 will be required.
