Diving baptism on the island of Mouro

If you are thinking of having your first diving experience, we propose a "baptism" in a truly special enclave: the island of Mouro, in the Bay of Santander, province of Cantabria.

For your first contact with scuba diving, we will start with a theoretical talk about diving. In it we will pay special attention to the knowledge that every newcomer to this sport needs: what materials any diver uses and how to control breathing underwater with them.

The main part that you must master before entering the water is the use of the respirator and being able to inhale and exhale naturally until you forget that you are doing it with an element that was foreign to you until now.

Once this theoretical block is finished, we will travel from Mouro Island in one of the school boats to La Torre Island, where we will carry out the immersion. We have chosen this point because we can control the circumstances to ensure an experience accessible to everyone in terms of depth and tranquility of the waters.

You will dive with a complete autonomous equipment that consists of the elements that we will have explained to you.

*The minimum age to participate is 12 years old. It is necessary to know how to swim.
**If the weather conditions do not allow diving on the island of Mouro, we will go to the island of La Torre.
