La Herradura Open Water Diving Course

The easiest way of starting doing an activity is joining a course. When it comes to scuba-diving, it is essential that you assimilate all the basic knowledge in order to be able to do an immersion in good conditions, and explore the waters of any coast. In Málaga, we offer you the option of doing this sport with our Open Water course that we will teach you for 1 week, or 3 days. You choose!

Since this is the first level of scuba-diving, you won't need to have any previous scuba-diving experience. During the course, we will teach you all the theory and practice with which we will cover all the aspects fo scuba-diving: equipment, different types of immersions, underwater communication, tide. etc. All of this will be taught by a professional and qualified instructor. 

When the moment to put everything you have learned into practice, the first thing you will do will be to try the movements and your underwater breathing in La Herradura beach. For this reason, we will transfer you to the immersion area on our vehicle. There will be a total of 4 immersions during which you will need to adapt to their surroundings, and have the opportunity of exploring the Mediterranean seabed always accompanied by an instructor. 

The maximum depth at which we will carry out these immersions will be 18 metres. Plenty of depth to encounter marine species such as octopus, sea horses, starfish, anemones... And this area is also famous for its great abundance of coral in many of its varieties. 

This is a course that you can do on your own, or with a group. Therefore, this is a unique chance if you want to invite your friends (maximum 6 people). This course will qualify you as capable of scuba-diving anywhere in the world.
