Initiation diving course in Calvià Open Water Diver

If you have chosen Mallorca as the place to receive your diving training, we are going to tell you something: you are a very wise person. And it is that in our diving school in Calvià you will not only learn with excellent professionals, you will also dive in dream places.

You are going to take the PADI Open Water Diver, the introductory course par excellence in the world of diving, which will then allow you to dive practically all over the planet.

The OWD is made up of 3 parts:

-First part: the theory. You will have to study 5 modules in which all the necessary information for the Open Water is included. You are going to do it by viewing the videos comfortably at home (picking up the DVD and the manual beforehand or requesting delivery) and then coming to the classroom to do the exercises and exams. But you also have the option of taking it entirely online, a modality that we recommend, to save time and for the convenience of doing it with your PC or tablet.

-Second part: practices in confined waters. Once the theory is over, it's time to put on the diving equipment and have the first real experience. These first dives will be in a pool or in a sheltered area of the coast. This way you will get used to using the equipment in maximum safety conditions.

-Third part: open water scuba dives. In total we are going to do 4 dives, I feel the first two up to 12 meters deep and the last 2 up to 18 meters. It is in this part where you are going to put into practice everything you have been learning in the previous sessions.

To access the course you must provide a medical certificate that approves the practice of diving.

We can offer you transfers from your accommodation if you are within the radius in which we work. Ask us.

We give flexibility for course times. It usually takes 4 days to complete, but it's all up to you.
