Guided route siege and battle of Madrid 1936

If you like history you've to come and enjoy this cultural visit with which you'll get to know Madrid in a very different way, focusing on the Spanish Civil War (1936 - 1939).

We offer you a guided route that you can do in addition to our Republican Madrid route. We'll focus on the siege of the city. We'll learn how the defensive and offensive strategies were planned throughout this 3 horrible years of famine and bombings.

We'll see how war strategies changed in Europe as time went by and how the importance of media became vital in order to win the war.

The figure of the woman and the importance of the common people will also be addressed as we analyze all the main characteristics of this obscure period of our recent history.

Part of this route takes place in Casa de Campo, so it is recommended to take into account the season of the year in which it will take place, the duration of the days and nights, as well as wear appropriate footwear, hat, and water, if necessary.
