During the 16th and 17th centuries, some of the most brilliant Spanish artists of all time lived together in Madrid, giving rise to the period known as the Golden Age.
During the visit, students tour the Barrio de Huertas or Barrio de las Letras where artists such as Cervantes, Lope de Vega or Góngora lived, while learning some of the most curious anecdotes of these writers: quarrels, ego fights, love episodes, etc.
You will also learn how in the 19th century with the arrival of Romanticism, this neighborhood once again experienced a cultural boom with the arrival of other great artists such as Bécquer or Zorrilla, among others.
