Guided tour of Medieval Madrid for schools

If you are looking for an activity for a school group, we suggest you combine culture and fun, they can learn more about the history of Madrid. We will tell legends and real stories, discovering that Mayrit or Magerit, the medieval fortress, is still there, in its streets and squares.

This tour will last about two hours, we'll discuss how they lived in our city during the Middle Ages, and how different cultures lived together as Muslims and Christians.

We'll talk about Reconquista, Repopulation, and feudalism. We'll see how our city was organized, which was its shield, its motto and you'll be surprised to see that part of our streets and squares were rivers and lagoons.

The route is headed by an expert, graduated in Geography and History, who will also have copious graphic material, and a booklet with activities for each student.

This tour will be like a game for the students, so they'll learn while having fun.
