Hiking in Gallina Pelada 6 hours

Attention to all those who are spending a few days in the region of Berguedà and are enthusiastic about hiking, the mountains of Sierra de Ensija are the environment for you. We offer you a medium difficulty route towards one of its best known peaks, Gallina Pelada, a summit of 2,322 meters of altitude, from which you can contemplate the Pedraforca itself. 

The excursion is designed for groups between 2 and 15 hikers. At all times, you will be accompanied by a guide qualified in mountain sports. You will learn, among other things, basic notions on how to get your bearings using maps, the diversity of flora and fauna that characterizes this spectacular area and the curious history of the formation of these mountains.

Reached the top, we will make a stop in the shelter of Delgado Úbeda to regain your strength with a  drink that will be offered by the guards who will be waiting for us. In addition, we are likely to be visited by a group of chamois who live in freedom on these grounds, including flocks of sheep that are ruminating along the road.

To make this hiking trip it is essential that you are in rather good physical condition, as well as  experience in the world of hiking. So let us remind you about the importance of going well equipped  with the right clothes and hiking boots to the ground. And don't forget to bring food and water (minimum 1 liter) for the journey.
