Description of Hiking in La Pedriza for 1 day
This walking path through La Pedriza is one of the most beautiful of Madrid, that´s why we offer you to develop this activity if you want to do some exercise in the Sierra Guadarrama, considered world heritage.
It is based on a one day route which lasts 10 hours approximately. It will be a 12 miles trajectory and a slope of 4593 feet, that includes multiple ups and downs of more than 32 feet.
It counts with granite rocks, which has an unique rose color, which its composition makes it have a propensity to chemical erosion. Here many animals live such as goats and vulture, that we can see if we are lucky.
The group must be of maximum 8 persons, and will be joined by a specialized guide which will be in charge of supervising the group, explain all the details and help us with any problem that arises.
The encounter point will be at Parking of Cantocochino, and we recommend you to bring: shoes, mountain clothes, back pack, water, food, sunglasses and trekking stick.
