Lakes of Pallars hiking trip from Madrid

We propose a complete weekend to explore and visit in depth the natural park of Aigües Tortes in the province of LLeida.

After lunch on Friday afternoon we get into our van and take the road to the natural park of Catalonia, we arrive for dinner and rest because the next day a great day awaits us, on Saturday we go first to the Gerber Valley and we arrive at the Mataró refuge, where a spectacular glacial cirque awaits us bordered by towering mountains that reach 3000 meters.

On the penultimate day we enter the most magical place in the Catalan Pyrenees, it seems like something out of a fairy tale, The lake of San Mauricio and Els Encantats, whose identical peaks form the most famous picture of the park.
The next day, before saying goodbye to the land of lakes, we will go hiking along a path to the hermitage of San Roc, from which you can see a perfect image of the Pleta d'Esterri and the lower part of the valley.

We will take advantage of our trip to immerse ourselves in the culture of Pallars where we will be these days of travel.
