Lozoya Valley Hiking, 2 hours, Nov. to May

Forget about walking through the pavement of the city only, and clear your head as you walk through a peaceful and natural atmosphere in Lozoya´s valley. You have between November and May to come and enjoy being in the poures natural environment that grows only 1 hour from the city of Madrid. 

This hiking route of two hours guided by monitors will let you to relax while you are doing exercise in a new type of environment. Lozoya´s valley, located in the Central System, offers you a wonderful landscape full of rich species and fauna, where you could observe spectacular pines, oaks and holm oaks.

Lozoya valley is located in the Sierra de Guadarrama mountains, a place where every step you take will be met by a great variety of vegetation and flowers, such as holm-oak woods, ash forests, as well as pyrenean oak, birch and yew trees. 

And, since it might be a bit difficult to find them in the wild, here you will be able to spot the sneakyred-tailed squirrel and, if you are lucky, perhaps even a griffon vulture, or the red-billed choughs, or a blac vulture.

And of course, you will be welcome to bring your dog!
