Horseback riding and picnic Sierra de Capelada 5-6 h

This spectacular horseback excursion is designed for those with some equestrian experience, since being somewhat extensive, it can tire a beginner quite a bit.

We start the tour at our farm, in the town of Ortigueira , and head towards the Sierra de Capelada . Reaching 450m of altitude, thus being able to enjoy spectacular views over the Ría de Ortigueira, where during the clearest days we will see the Estaca de Bares , the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula .

In addition to having the opportunity to see the sea during this tour, we will also visit the Cascada do Pozo do Inferno , the most important of the Ortegal , the Casón River waterfall and the famous Casón medieval castle located 300 meters above sea level, a SX fortress that served to guard the entrance to the Ría of Ortigueira before the possible summer raids of the Norman pirates.

• We arrived at the Sierra de Capelada itself, or "Mountains of the Fog".

Halfway through the tour we will pause to rest and have a picnic that we include in the pack.

In total, we will spend about 5-6 hours depending on the rhythm we take, so we ask for some experience in horseback riding.

The minimum age to be able to do the route is 12 years .
