Would you like to initiate yourself in the world of kitesurfing? Then what place could best to do it than Tarifa's beach, where our 6-hour individual introductory course to kitesurfing is taught, and with which you will learn everything you will need to know to do this sport. 

During this time, you will learn both theoretical and practical notions about kitesurfing. With regard of the theory, the instructor in charge of teaching you the course will explain how the wind direction works, how to read the weather, and what are the main obstacles that you can find in the beach, as well as all the safety measures that need to be taken care of whenever doing any water sport. 

After you have learned how to prepare, hold, and move the kite, as well as how to practice the takeoff and landing of the power kite, we will then carry out our first flying practice off-water to learn how to control the control bar before learning other more complex techniques. Once you have mastered the technique on land, we will then take your kitesurfing to the water. 

During the water lessons, we will learn how to return to the shore with the help of the power kite or prepare a self-rescue with the control bar, as well as the different types of body dragging (in both directions, windward, with the board...). We will also learn how to gain speed with the kite before we start to surf.
