Guided tour of the Port of Calpe 1 hour and 30 min

We want to revitalize the fishing tradition of the Spanish eastern coast and that's why we invite you to come to a guided tour through the Calpe's harbour. We will take you to explore, for 1 hour and 30 minutes, the places of interest so that you know the work of the fishermen and the cultural tradition of this beautiful town of Alicante.

Its cultural character makes this visit a good way to introduce children to the knowledge of marine life. In addition, we will also show you the processes that fish follow after their capture; from the moment fishermen disembark at the port until they are exhibited in the auction of the fish market. And you will not do it in any way, but accompanied by the knowledge of a marine biologist, who will be in charge of telling you every detail and curiosities that may arise during the tour.

The tour will be worth it, both for the information it will provide (old photos of Calpe, explanation of the types and varieties of fishing) and for the climate and landscape. From the harbour you can also see the emblematic rock of Peñón de Ifach, an essential part to understand the history of this unique town.

We will meet at the entrance of the fishing port of Calpe any day of the week between Monday and Friday. And you won't have to get up early, the visit will take place at 4:30 pm.
