Where are the main ravines of Alicante?


--> Dry ravines:

- Barranco del Infierno: In the Marina Alta of Alicante, just between Vall de Ebo and Vall de Laguar, you will find this level II canyon. It is divided into two very different sections, one of them completely open and the other through the internal cracks of the canyon.

- Cañón de la Rubia: Very close to Polop de la Marina, you will find this dry canyon of medium difficulty. In addition to enjoying the spectacular views of the mountain, you will be able to rappel down some 50 metres, which will leave you speechless.

- Barranco del Soler: This canyon has more than six different abseiling sections, some of the aerial, which means that during the descent, you will only be holding on to the rope, and you will not be able to rest your feet on any wall. This is a thrilling canyon in the Soler, perfect for beginners.

--> Aquatic ravines:

- Barranco de Bolulla: better known as the Estret de les Penyes, this area includes a fast-paced aquatic ravine only suitable for the most daring. If you suffer from vertigo or have an immense fear of heights, this is not for you.

- Barranco de Abdet: Also called Barranco de Mela, barely half an hour from Benidorm, we find this canyon in the Sierra de la Serrella, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful places in Alicante.

- Alfaz del Pi: Reach an intermediate level in canyoning that allows you to participate in more complex itineraries. In this canyon, you can jump from the top of waterfalls, jump into pools, cross very narrow passages and descend steep slopes.

- Millares canyon: Waterfalls, slight obstacles, and easy descent make this water canyon one of the best options for families to enjoy this sport. Its level is for beginners and is suitable for all ages.

- Gorgo de la Escalera canyon: In the town of Anna, you can take part in exciting canyoning trails that are perfect for the whole family. These are perfect for all ages, with several sections of abseiling, jumps and the occasional siphon that will fascinate the little ones.

- Barranco de Otonel: Also located in the province of Valencia, to the north of Alicante, we cannot forget this spectacular route. You can have child-like fun crossing waterfalls, sliding down slides and going through jumps and areas that you will have to swim through.

- Coasteering in Villajoyosa and Alicante: Explore caves, test your skills moving along the rock walls and even snorkel in the coastal areas closest to the cities of Alicante and Villajoyosa.
