If you don’t have any previous experience in the world of diving, but want to discover what the seabeds throughout the coasts of Alicante hide, you can try a snorkel session or scuba diving baptisms.

- Snorkeling session: The instructors, that are perfect connoisseurs of the zone, who will hand out the pieces of equipment, generally is the tube, goggles, and flippers and will take you to discover the best places to dive. You can choose between a session from the shore of a beach or a boat. Calpe, Jávea, Altea, Benidorm or Santa Pola, are some of the places where you can practice it. Is an activity suitable for all audiences, designed to be enjoyed with the family, and we recommend you to carry it out in the Tabarca island Natural Reserve or in the Benidorm National Park.

If you want to take a step forward and try what will be a scuba diving session itself, with oxygen cylinders and dive down to 8 meters in depth, the scuba diving baptism is the perfect option for you. This will be your first approximation to this sport and will consist of a theory and practical part, where a monitor will accompany you, you will be submerged in the sea and enjoy the beautiful views that the underwater gives. You can choose Alte, Jávea, Calpe, Benissa, Benidorm, Mutxamel, Santa Pola, Isla de Tabarca, Torrevieja or Denia to carry out this baptism. In the majority of cases, the trips are done with a boat since this allows us to reach the best area to do the immersion. On occasions, there also exits the possibility to do it from the same beach.

If you are least have an idea that you could fall in love with scuba diving, but you still don’t see yourself or don’t have enough time to start going to a course, you can try a PADI Discover Scuba Diving, normally composed by 2 immersions, the first one in a pool or on the sea up to 6 meters and the second, in the high seas and up to 12 meters. Surely, that after trying it in Denia, Calpe or Benidorm, you will feel the eagerness to do some more.

¿Can you imagine scuba diving in any part of the world? It cans sounds complicated but is nothing of another world since with a PADI Open Water Diver course you will be able to do it. You can scuba dive up to 18 meters in depth, always accompanied and in almost any part of the planet. The courses can take up 2 to 5 days, depending on the available weather. You can plan your vacations in Torrevieja, Altea, Jávez or Benidorm and seize to get a scuba diver certificate.

And if you already have the degree of the Open Water Diver course, but want to complete your formation as a scuba diver, you can continue with the Advance Open Water Diver Course or with the Rescue Diver, both under the PADI certification, that have been more than 50 years forming scuba divers and have more than 24 millions of scuba divers all over the world.
