Ornithology in Gibraltar for 1 day

Does a simple visit to the Strait of Gibraltar fall short? Well, we have the solution with a different plan, enjoy for a day our ornithological routes through the areas of Gibraltar and its surroundings. Come and discover for a whole day , the fauna of this corner of southern Spain.

At the beginning of the route you can enjoy Los Lances beach , a little urbanized area, with golden sands and crystal clear waters where tranquility will flood you and you will be able to observe all those who dare to do sailing sports .

After visiting this area we will drive our way to the Cazalla Observatory , where we will spot gliding birds, where their majestic wings will leave you enchanted. Around 2:00 p.m. we will leave time for lunch and thus regain strength.

We will continue our visit to the old Laguna de la Janda , since today it is dry due to the agricultural use of former landowners. It is a unique place where you can discover an authentic paradise of migratory birds of all kinds, in addition to those of the region.
