Discover paragliding - Sierra Madrid 1 day course

Flying is an ability that only birds have... until now. Can you imagine yourself crossing the sky? Becase we do!

We propose you a one day course to discover paragliding, an amazing air sport full of excitement and fun. In it, you will perform your first jumps from a slight incline, equipped with a paraglider for beginners. First, we will play with the wind as it the paraglider would be a kite. Through this, you will learn the paragliding techniques and the takeoff and landing procedures.

After 2-3 attempts, most of the students usually achieve a good control of the wing. Then, we will go up the slope. With a short run, you will be floating in the wind, always close to the ground. Here your efforts, ability and meteorological conditions take part in the outcome.

The second day (this is optional) we will fly in a tandem paraglider from the top of the mountain range. This is an instructional flight that counts with two sets of controls, so you can handle the paraglider with the instructor. Thanks to the school promotion, you will get the best price for this.

The next step is the Paragliding Course for New Pilots, in which you will perfect your techniques to become a pilot during 3 days. In it, you will eperience your first flight by yourself. If you start it in 1-2 months, you will be able to deduct the cost of this activity to the course cost. If not, it's better to start from scratch (5 days duration) to get confident for your first flight.
