Paxcol Nautical School has been teaching sailing courses and renting all types of sailboats since 1991. It is a school approved by the General Directorate of the Merchant Navy; and by the Maritime Development Center of the Valencian Community.
They teach preparatory courses and practices for nautical sports qualifications, according to current legislation. With a more sporting focus, they are also a Cruise Sailing School.
These courses have the subsidies that the Municipal Sports Foundation grants to the R.C.N. of Valencia, for the promotion of the sport of sailing, which is a guarantee of good service and efficiency in its services.
The duration of the course is 20 teaching hours, divided into five 4-hour sessions on Saturdays or Sundays, and, in summer, also from Monday to Friday.
The courses are taught by qualified instructors from the Merchant Navy and by cruise sailing instructors. Likewise, this course will be valid for those who need to carry out sailing practices, required by current legislation, for the management of recreational boats powered by sail.
To be able to take this course you must be over 15 years old. The course has a duration of 20 teaching hours in which an initiation and/or improvement of knowledge and techniques will be carried out.
Cruising sailing courses are divided into four 5-hour sessions on Saturdays or Sundays.
