Finca Moreiras

From Fincas Moreiras we encourage you to enjoy our Pura Raza Galega horses and help us contribute to their conservation. With us you can delight in the spectacular Galician landscapes.

Based inPontevedra, we seek to promote Galician culture and the well-being of these animals through different equestrian activities. A nice and fun way to learn more about an equine breed that we have known so little about protecting throughout history.

In our center we raise, tame and pamper our horses ourselves, as well as taking care of some wild herds that live in the south of the region, to contribute our grain of sand to their protection.

Due to the size and particularity of this lineage, people who weigh more than 80 kg will not be able to do our routes on horseback with this specimen and will have the option of doing the activity either on foot, accompanying the group, or on another horse of a different breed. .

If you dare to meet our troop you will discover, in a different and fantastic way, small villages in the area, the natural habitat of wild horses and important places of Galician culture such as petroglyphs or forts.

We have a wide variety of routes:

• The Sobreiras-Monasterio route where we can admire the Sobreias do Faro forest, the westernmost Mediterranean forest in Europe, and theOia Monastery strong>.

• We will enjoy our horse and at the same time admire the west coast of the Atlantic Ocean on the Atlantic Balcony route.

• If you want to know more about the environment and behavior of the wild herds of PRG, the ethological route will allow you to do so.

• You can live a different experience by completing your activity with a wine tasting and a visit to the vineyards of Baixo and Miño choosing the vineyard route.
