Rutas a Caballo El Dorado

El Dorado Horse Riding Routes is the oldest route and ride company in Cangas de Onís. Created by the current owners in 1989, it is located in the town of Soto e Cangas, located 6 kilometers from Covadonga (Asturias).

We offer 2 types of routes, depending on their duration:

• One hour routes: We will leave from the El Dorado facilities towards the village of Isongu, along the old royal road and return.

• 2-hour routes: The departure will also be from our facilities towards Isongu, passing through Santu Mederu (chapel), going down to Corao (to have a culín of cider) and along the river bank, returning to El Dorado along the riverbank.

• Long-distance itineraries: Together with the Covadonga Mountain Equestrian Club, we frequently organize routes of several days through the geography of the region or the mountain range. Some of the places we have been able to enjoy have been: Upper Duje Valley, Eastern Massif or Picos de Europa.
