Where can I do a Jet Ski Safari in Tenerife?

- In the southwest of the island, you will find one of the most popular places in Tenerife, Playa de las Américas. In this place, there are 4 different locations where you can ride a jet ski. From 20-minute rides or rentals in Playa de la Torviscas, to longer periods of 40 minutes and 1 hour. But if you really want to get to know the area and reach other parts of the island, we suggest the 2 hour and 2 and a half hour routes, both departing from Puerto Colón and heading towards the cliff area of Acantilado de los Gigantes. A specialised guide will take you to discover this natural wonder that is shaped in the form of rocky walls with different reliefs in the town of Santiago del Teide. As the route is quite extensive, a picnic will be included to recharge your energy halfway along the route.

- Another place you can't miss during your stay in the south of Tenerife is Adeje since, in addition to its beautiful and wide beaches, you will have the opportunity to feel the speed in its purest form riding a jet ski across the sea. In this case, the instructor will take you to visit some of the nearby caves and coves and, if the weather and conditions allow it, even to the island’s ‘hippy beach’. If you want to make the most of your jet ski ride, with the 2- and 3-hour routes, you will be able to visit the different caves, coves and cliffs of Tenerife’s west coast, reaching interesting spots such as Punta de Tena or Los Gigantes. Furthermore, with the motorbike you will be able to reach places that are inaccessible with other types of vehicles or boats.

- From Puerto de los Cristianos, in the town of Arona, you will have the opportunity to ride for 40 minutes along the coast between Arona and Adeje, as long as you are at least 16 years old and bring your parental consent until you are 18. But if this journey is not enough for you, you will be able to sail for 1 hour on a jet ski along the incredible and beautiful beaches of Troya, El Camisón, Las Vistas or Las Américas. You will also have the opportunity to visit a beautiful volcanic cave in Palm Mar. If you opt for the 2-hour route, you will be able to complete your journey by reaching areas such as Punta de la Rasca, Fañabe or Spaguetti Beach. And of course, you will be delighted by a walk through the Malpaís de la Rasca Nature Reserve, where you can discover exotic plant and animal species, and find out why it was a sacred site for the Guanches.

- Continuing along the south of Tenerife's coastline, you can get your adrenaline pumping with one of the 3 routes in the area of Las Galletas. You will have to choose the duration between options of 1 and 3 hours and be ready to discover new places. In 60 minutes, you will have the opportunity to explore the Palm-Mar area. If you want to extend your route up to 2 hours, you can enjoy the sea turtles that live in La Caleta and, in addition, the instructors will lend you the snorkelling equipment so that you can enjoy a swim with these endearing animals, and of course, enjoy its beautiful seabed. And if you want to enjoy half a day of jet skiing, the route is completed by paying a visit to the cliffs of Los Gigantes. As it is a 3-and-a-half-hour route, you can also stop for a swim in the open sea and snorkel if you want with the fins, snorkel and goggles that the instructors will lend you.

- If you find yourself on the west side of the island, you can combine your jet ski tour with a zodiac ride, a snorkelling session and a tasty fruit picnic. These trips from Los Gigantes last 2 hours.

- And if you are staying in the north of Tenerife, let yourself be seduced by the beautiful scenery, with a contrast between the green of its vegetation and the blue of its sea, which is something you shouldn’t miss either if you are in the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. You can ride on a powerful jet ski accompanied by a companion of your choice and ride the waves along the north coast until you reach the area of Radazul. With the routes of 30 minutes and 1 hour, you will be able to see one of the most beautiful areas of the island.
