Any of these disciplines will allow you to discover the richness of this place. We are located in the Anaga Rural Park , at the point known as El Bailadero. It is one of the areas declared Natural Areas of the Canary Islands for its variety of fauna, flora and geological formations.

During your stay you can find protected species of birds, since we are in the ZEPA area (Special Protection Area for birds).

The ecological delicacy of our location makes us worry about offering you sustainable accommodation . All the activities we carry out take place without leaving a trace of our passage through this ecosystem.

The walks in Santa Cruz de Tenerife are the specialty of Albergue Montes de Anaga Hiking . The natural reserve in which we are located allows guided routes very varied: inside the forest, between the cavities of the mountain or along the coast.

We schedule tours during all months of the year. Some examples:

- Casas de la Cumbre with a finish line in Valle Brosque: 7.6 kilometers down the Mataborricos road to continue climbing steeply towards the Cruz de Taganana.

- Between Chamorga and El Draguillo: more than 11 kilometers of route with the possibility of choosing shorter sections. You will descend the Barranco de Roque Bermejo, a point that will leave you on the beach on the way to the Anaga Lighthouse.

- From Afur to Taganana: the distance increases to almost 14 kilometers, following the riverbed to the sea, a rare image in the archipelago. The excursion is divided into parts from which it can be finished by public transport.

On any of the routes, you must wear appropriate footwear for walking on rough roads, clothing that protects you from the cold and intense sun, depending on the case, water and food.

At Albergue Montes de Anaga Mountain Bike we have prepared bicycle routes in the Anaga Rural Park. With us you not only pedal, you travel through one of the most beautiful protected environments of the Canary Islands .

We have accommodation in the middle of the mountain range . Rest in our facilities, when you get up you can take any of our mountain bikes and start the adventure. We will establish a route designed for you to enjoy exercising on the paths available in the park. You must be equipped with comfortable clothing and you must not forget the helmet. It is also very important that you do not lack water to avoid dehydration.

On your excursion you will discover the contrasts of the island of Santa Cruz de Tenerife . You will start the adventure in a deep forest on the top of the mountain. As you progress, you will see the geological formations that are the result of millions of years, inhabited by numerous species of animals and plants. At the final point of the descent, the sea meets the mountain creating an unforgettable image.

At the Montes de Anaga Rocódromo Hostel we take care of introducing you to the world of climbing while you spend a few days resting in this mountain range. You will be in a safe environment in which learn to climb safely and without any of the dangers involved in starting this activity in nature.

Around our facilities rise mountains and rock walls that you could not face without some previous experience. In our climbing wall parts from scratch, you don't need to have any knowledge to start the ascent. These are our reasons:
