Aquaignis Canoeing offers you to take a complete private river canoeing course. An experience that you will want to repeat and experience again.

We will introduce you to the world of river canoeing. You will learn all of the following:

• Handle the kayak
• Interpret the currents
• Avoid dangers
• Know navigation routes
• Everything related to this wonderful sport

The venue is in the incredible location of the Tower, just 12 km from the capital. A clean river, lush with vegetation and with fun rapids where you can learn to master the canoe. Don't worry about falling, a good dip will surely comfort you.

You can come as a couple, group of friends or family. The course is accompanied by an interesting theoretical part that will make you become a real canoeist and learn incredible techniques for it. We will also advise you about the economical acquisition of canoes and other similar topics.

Aquaignis Hiking offers you a multitude of incredible routes with which to get to know our region and take the tours that you cannot miss.

We have Natural and Cultural hiking:

• 1st. Enchanted City Route: impressive cyclopean formations where the great Sea of Thetis existed in the distant past. The legend and magic made fossil will surprise you.

• 2nd Las Torcas and Lagunas de Palancares Route: Still an unsolved mystery. Titanic sinkholes in the heart of the Palancares mountain range, form disturbing torks and lagoons of incredible beauty. Each one contains numerous legends, myths and curiosities that you will learn about

• 3rd. Buendía Faces Route: Next to the Buendía reservoir, a magical place emerges that will surprise you. Large sculptures of great beauty carved into living rock.

• 4th Guided Tour of the Historic Center of Cuenca: Since King Alfonso VIII conquered it in 1177, it has been the subject of numerous stories and legends that you can learn about. As if that were not enough, it is said that the Holy Grail may have been housed for some time in his cathedral.

• 1st Route "In search of medicinal plants": In a dream location next to the Júcar River, just 15m from the capital, a virginal botanical walk presents itself before us. You will learn to differentiate a large number of plants, as well as their medicinal, magical or culinary properties and their collection and drying methods. Without forgetting the famous devil plants and aphrodisiacs.

• 2nd Route "In search of the mushrooms of Cuenca": In the mountains of Cuenca, a large number of mushrooms of extraordinary gastronomic richness are raised. We will teach you to differentiate them, to collect them, to look for them. Without a doubt you will be introduced to the wonderful world of mycology.

With Aquaignis you can take an important step in your knowledge about the plants and fungi that you find every time you walk through the countryside. Located in the city of Cuenca, we organize the guided route in search of medicinal plants, in which we will show you more than 80 plant species with medicinal value that live in Spain. And, what's better, we will teach you tricks to learn to differentiate them on your own.

This guided tour is a botanical hiking route, in which in addition to getting to know dozens of plants, you will enjoy a unique and natural landscape. Many of these species have legends, but also real stories around them, with the magical uses that we have seen many times in movies and books. You will also have the ability to make potions, magical and home remedies after this botanical route.

Our guide has been spreading ethnobotany in our country for more than 15 years, and will also show you the secrets of mushrooms to identify them in their natural habitat.

We will go towards the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park, we will cross forests with countless vegetation and along these paths, we will discover a multitude of different varieties such as chanterelles, ramarias, amanitas, oyster mushrooms, boletusand many more.

Along the way you will be able to have intimate contact with the natural environment and our experts will guide you to places of great beauty.

Once you get home and place your specimens, you can cook them in different ways. They say that mushrooms you pick yourself taste much better. So go ahead and be a chef.
