Centro Ecuestre Tordesillas

At the Tordesillas Equestrian Center we have been taking care of horses for a long time and offering experiences with them to people like you. We are in the center of Castilla y León, in the town of Tordesillas, and we belong to the Active Tourism group of the autonomous community in relation to horseback routes.
We understand that the level of experience and skill is not the same for everyone, and that is why we have adapted the tours according to these parameters. The initiation route lasts 1 hour along the bank of the Duero River, which crosses Tordesillas, leaving a pleasant shore on which to walk at ease.

But if you have experience, we organize long-term routes, even days, taking advantage of the fact that we are in a wine-growing area. White wine from Rueda and red wine from Toro are two Designations of Origin that we will visit on one of these tours. Another is the Senda del Duero, from our equestrian center to Castronuño, where the natural reserve of its banks awaits us.

Within our equestrian club, we also organize summer camps focused, obviously, on horse riding. For children from 6 years old, you can choose between all the weeks of July and August so that your child comes from Monday to Saturday to learn to be a good rider and to respect to these animals.

The day camp schedule is from 9 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon. It will be enough time to do routes through the countryside and to know how to treat the horses in the riding arena: how to clean them, know how much and when they should eat and many other things.

The center of Castilla y León is a great area to sign up for a horseback riding route. At the Tordesillas Equestrian Center we organize outings on the back of our horses along the banks of the Duero River taking various directions, depending on your level and the time you have available.

If you're worried about your little (or no) horseback riding experience, don't worry. One of ourroutes is for beginners, with a small prior class so that you gain confidence and a one-hour outing along the banks of the Duero, starting from our center in Tordesillas. If you come with children (over 3 years old), the instructors will be attentive to them so that they also enjoy a ride on horseback.

But we also organize long-term journeys, which can be divided into days if you prefer, because they are excursions full of culture. We will do awine tourism route, taking advantage of the fact that Valladolid is a land of wines with the Denominations of Origin of Rueda and Toro, where we will taste white and red wines among the Castilian vineyards. br />
The Senda del Duero is another long route. Departing from Tordesillas, we will walk along the banks of the Duero towards the southwest until we reach the Riberas de Castronuño Natural Reserve, known as the Great Florida of the Duero.

Castilla has a lot to discover, and doing so on horseback is an experience you have to live.
