Club Hipic Son Reus

At Club Hipic Son Reus we are a riding school that is located a few minutes from Palma so you can access our farm comfortably whenever you are looking for a service related to this scope.

It is made up of a technical team consisting of 3 horse riding technicians, 2 psychologists to develop horse-assisted therapies and pedagogical training plans, 1 social integration technician and 2 veterinarians specialized in animal welfare .

We have a team of 6 ponies and 22 horses in spacious facilities where our horses spend most of their time in semi-freedom.

We develop group and individual riding lessons and therapies from Monday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. in winter and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in summer. These are adapted to the level that riders and amazons present from the most basic.

During vacation periods we do campus (at Christmas, Easter and Summer) with a schedule from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with food included and several workshops in which the different aspects of the horsemanship.

At the Club Hipic Son Reus we offer you magnificent horse riding excursions very close to Palma. In these outings we get to know the natural environment of this part of the island, made up of a beautiful contrast between the forest and the beach.

The horse riding routes that we program require the advance reservation of the participants and are always done in small groups of at least 2 riders and can reach a maximum of 8 people. They are tours of a minimum duration of 90 minutes that we can extend according to the experience of the participants' teams.

We also train students in the areas of:

- Contact with ponies : at the Baby School Pony we serve little ones between 3 and 5 years old with the detailed monitoring of our pedagogues.

- Riding for all : from 5 years old and without age limit we teach the skills that form the basis of this sport.

- Turning, dressage and show jumping : we are an official school in all modalities and disciplines, reinforcing and expanding the student's knowledge in each specialty. We remain attentive to the weaknesses and strengths of each rider and rider.

At Son Reus we consider that school vacation periods are better spent on horseback and in order for children to participate in this idea we organize camps when they do not have to go to class. For this reason, our available dates coincide with Christmas, Easter and the summer months.

In general, we maintain a schedule of 9:00 in the morning with pick-up of students at 16:00 in the afternoon. However, additionally you can hire childcare service for those parents who need to leave their children at 8 am. We follow a program like this:

- Riding and turning classes : with content that is always adapted to the age and profile of each of the participants.

- Pony Games : fun tests that we will do with the smallest horses in our facilities.

- Theory and practice of pony care as well as its management, always respecting the welfare of the animals.

We include lunch at noon, but those children who wish can bring something to eat at mid-morning. The activities are coordinated by a pedagogical team with specific preparation.
