Canyoning , there is no ravine in Castellón that can resist us:

• Level I: Barrancos del Cabrer, Girona, Aigua, Pozo Azul, Maimona, Pozo Negro, Salto de la Novia
• Level 2: Barrancos del Lobo, del Manzano, La Escalera, Les Parretes and the left tributary of Los Rincones.
• Level 3: Barrancos de la Fou, Los Rincones, del Centenario, Salt de Robert and dels Racons.

Climbing in sports mode or large walls:

• Sports: ascents to Montanejos, Murs, Racó del Farol, Vallat, Mas de Domingo and Torre de Arcas.
• Great Walls: Penyagolosa, Montanejos and Las Rocas de Masmut.

Via Ferrata , these artificial modifications of the mountain facilitate the ascent to them. We go through the best of the province: Via ferrata de Castellote, Mas del Pau, Mondrago, Roca del Figueral and Torreta de los Moros.

At Desgrimpades we do canyoning all over Castellón, always looking for the least common and funniest river beds in the whole province. Normally, we travel through shallow watersheds, even dry ravines, where we can rappel and enjoy the best adventure sports.

We make descents through all kinds of canyons, depending on the experience and physical condition of the participants, we can do ravines from level I to level III.

Level I , although they lack difficulty, it is necessary to be in shape to perform these ravines:

• Salt del Cabrer, a 2-hour tour with a total drop of 40 meters.
• From Girona, with only 1 hour duration you can soak up the authentic essence of canyoning. It has a total difference of 60 meters.
• From Aigua, in Penyagolosa we find this dry ravine lasting one hour, there will be a rappel of 15 meters.
• From the Azul well, in Puertomingalvo we will make this simple ravine that maintains an abundant flow throughout the year. It requires an investment of half a day of time and there are no rappels.
• From la Maimona, 3 kilometers of route in the Montajenos area. A drop of 150 meters without rappels.
• From the Pozo Negro, in Ludiente we will descend this varied and fun water ravine, you will have to come prepared for its slides, descents and surprising jumps.
• From the Salto de la Novia, just a thousand meters of travel in which you have to invest 3 hours to complete its descent.

Level II , if you have already made a descent and are looking for new adventures in Castellón you will find the ravines:

• Del Lobo, in Cirat we find this rocky formation with three beautiful gorges and a total of 8 rappels, the highest being 16 meters.
• Del Manzano, 4 hours of canyoning in the Ludiente area, undoubtedly one of the classics that you cannot miss.
• From the Staircase, more than 300 meters of unevenness that you will have to overcome thanks to its 7 rappels and a total of 3 hours of travel.
• From Les Parretes, if you like to rappel this is your ravine, a total of 13 descents with heights up to 30 meters.

Level III , to carry out this type of canyoning it is advisable to have some experience in mountain sports and maintain good physical shape.

• From Fou, 4 hours in which we will have to overcome 270 meters of unevenness with rappels up to 30 meters. A total of 4 hours through narrow sections and vertiginous slopes.
• De los Rincones, 9 impressive rappels to descend a total of 330 meters. Not suitable for people with vertigo!
• Del Centenario, it is one of the best descents that any lover of canyoning could face. Of aSpectacular natural beauty, it has an incredible 70 meter high ravine.
• Salto de Robert, it is one of the most prestigious jumps in the world of mountaineering, 60 meters down a waterfall are the reason for the fame.
• Dels Racons, although not one of the most practiced, has a respectable 50-meter rappel.

The excursions do not need any previous knowledge or experience with canoes, with the help of our instructors specialized in aquatic activities, you will be able to quickly get hold of the navigability of these boats.

Castellón offers great climbing challenges for all lovers of mountain sports and from Desgrimpades we propose modalities sport climbing:

• Montanejos, its more than 1200 routes are a challenge for any scalder. And we usually do sections of 25 meters.
• Murs, located in Coves de Vinromá, is an ascent in high quality limestone rock. It has more than 80 routes with an average height of 25 meters.
• Racó de Farol, 40 routes that allow us to enjoy a pleasant day near Borriol.
• Vallat, 60 routes for all levels that will be able to test your climbing technique.
• Torre de Arcas, it is a conglomerate of rock very close to Morella.

We also make ascents to great walls such as Penyagolosa : it is the highest peak in the Valencian Community (1813 meters). If the participants do not have experience, we will do the Albino Spur. If, on the other hand, it is a group of experts, we will choose Viciano-Guallert.

Come and discover the underground world that the province of Castellón hides from the hand of Desgrimpades. Guided tours that take you to discover all kinds of stalactites and stalagmites, narrow caves, crystalline water lakes or huge rooms with infinite depths.

Cueva Cerdaña , requires a certain progression technique. It is a survey that deepens to levels close to 90 meters.

Cueva del Estuco , it is a basic level of caving with 20 meters of depth that leads you to glimpse stalactites and stalagmites of more than 14 meters.

La Cova Santa , it is more of a guided tour but it allows you to contemplate fantastic underground formations.

The Cirtat Cave , an adventure where you can perfectly observe the works of art that nature has been sculpting for millennia.

La Cueva del Toro , is an aquatic expedition, a different activity that takes you swimming through narrow galleries, siphoned passages and amazing geological formations.

The Mediterranean climate and the sea and mountain orography of Castellón are an attraction for any hiking lover. At Desgrimpades we organize excursions with the aim of making our public know some of the most representative and beautiful landscapes of Castellón.

Desert de les Palmes : Get to know the lung of the province, located between Castellón and Benicàssim. Discover the famous routes of the Ermita de les Santes, the ascent to Pico Bartolo or visit the monuments of the Old Monastery or Las Fuentes.

Pengagolosa : Excursions that visit the highest peak in the province and the slopes of the mountain.

Sierra de Eespadán : Several itineraries that run through this great mountain range.

Tinença de Benifassà: We carry out the well-known Retaule Beech Forest Circuit and the Protell de L’Infern Circuit, circular routes through this Natural Park.

The average distance of the routes is 10 kilometers to be done in half a day. It is necessary to be equipped with comfortable and sports clothing, as well as hiking boots.

Castellón brings together some of the best via ferratas in our country and with Desgrimpades you will be able to know each and every one of them. Most do not require previous experience, these types of activities are designed so that everyone can access large mountain peaks without extraordinary effort.

• Via Ferrata de Castellote: A simple route that ends at the Castellote Castle where you can enjoy magnificent views of the town of Morella.
• Via Ferrata Mas Del Pau: This is a 2x1 in ferratas, at the end we will give you the Ferrata of Torreta de los Moros.
• Via Ferrata Mondrago, a very complete ferrata that has a Tibetan bridge, zip line and rappel.
• Via Ferrata Roca Del Fígueral, a fairly simple passage until it reaches the vertical wall where we will have to climb with the sharp of dams.
• Via Ferrata Torreta De Los Moros, the longest but easiest route.

It is a feeling very close to flying, being suspended on a steel cable and descending at high speed allows you to live in the first person the freedom that any raptor could feel.

Although it is about 200 meters, it is a very intense activity, in a few seconds the adrenaline will be maximized, at the end of it you will be left with a unique and very reassuring feeling.
