At El Tranco we are a company dedicated to active tourism in which we organize adventure sports and activities for the whole family. We are in the middle of the Cazorla, Segura y las Villas Natural Park , what better natural environment than this?

The activities that we offer are the following:

• Boat trip : either renting a boat , a pedal boat or enjoying a ride on our solar boat .

• Kayak : with our canoes, double or single, you can enjoy the environment that surrounds us from the river or the reservoir. You choose.

• Archery : get started in this sport with the help of our instructors. You only need concentration and balance, the aim is practiced.

• Zip line : we have a 140 meter zip line with a climbing wall. An experience that will allow you to contemplate the landscape from above.

• Canyoning : our instructors will guide you through all sections of the river so that you can enjoy each of its peculiarities.

• Rafting: gather a group of friends and get on the raft to challenge each other against the force of the water. Pure adrenaline!

• Paddle Surf : sport originating in ancient Polynesia that has become fashionable due to its many benefits. Find out what they are.

• Hiking : with the help of our guides you will be able to know the surroundings in a pleasant and fun way while you exercise.

• Ornithology : take the opportunity to enjoy the varied flora and fauna of the area. We are lucky to be one of the richest habitats in the region.

We also put at your disposal a restaurant service in which you can taste the typical gastronomy while you contemplate the beauty of the reservoir. We also have a shop where you can buy some souvenirs or regional products, ideal to give away or keep a memory of a fun day.

At El Tranco we want you to enjoy nature in its purest form with all that this entails. For this reason, we put at your disposal several kayaks so that you can go down the river and you can overcome each of its sections only with the help of an oar and a canoe.

Our kayaks are individual and are made of polyethylene, a very resistant and safe material designed for this type of activity. In addition, they are unsinkable and self-emptying so safety will not be a problem.

It is not necessary that you have experience since, as soon as you arrive, our monitor will teach you how to use the kayak although the handling is very simple. Once in the water, the instructor will also tell you how to act and face obstacles so that the experience is perfect.

The 9 km or less route begins in Puente Agustines and ends in Puente Ortega, that is, we will take a tour of the white waters of Alto Guadalquivir, the excitement is guaranteed!

The price of the activity includes: bib, neoprene booties, life jacket and helmet . We will also provide you with an energy bar and a bottle of water so that we don't need anything. Mandatory insurance is included.

If you prefer to enjoy kayaking in a calmer way you can rent the equipment to navigate the swamp . It will be an original way to get to know the surroundings.

At El Tranco we have launched the fashionable sport: paddle surfing . Its origin dates back to ancient Polynesia where its inhabitants used this practice to move from one island to another. You only need a paddle and a surfboard.

There are many studies that support that doing paddle surf on a regular basis improves physical condition, ergonomics and reduces stress, so why not try it?

If you are a beginner you have nothing to fear, our monitors will be happy to explain how it works and give you some tips to keep your balance and not fall into the water.

The El Tranco reservoir is perfect to develop this activity due to its calm waters and the varied flora and fauna that surround them. You will be able to spot various types of birds such as the great cormorant, the herring gull or the common coot but also enjoy numerous panoramic views of the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park, a real luxury!

We carry out this activity every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. .

You can also rent the material for free and discover the landscape for yourself with your family and friends.

At El Tranco we introduce you to our solar boat , the only motor vehicle authorized to navigate the Natural Park reservoir. In addition, it is a totally ecological and sustainable transport since it has numerous solar panels that allow it to obtain the energy to navigate indefinitely.

It has capacity for more than 60 people so it is ideal to go with the family and enjoy a walk in the open air contemplating both the reservoir and the surrounding mountains and forests.

You can choose between 2 itineraries:

• Hornos Route : we will travel along the left side of the reservoir to appreciate the views of the town of Hornos, its castle and El Yelmo, a peak over 1800 high. We will also visit the Chorreón waterfall, one of the most beautiful corners of the Sierra de Cazorla Natural Park. Take the opportunity to spot the birds of the area such as the great cormorant, the herring gull or the common coot.

• Bujaraiza Route : We will depart to the south of the reservoir to contemplate the Sierra de las Villas and the Banderillas peak mountain range. Another place you can see is the island of Cabeza de la Viña, famous for its pine forests and not always accessible due to rising tides.

In addition, we propose other options for you to enjoy the water such as renting a pedal boat or a rowing boat . You can sail, sunbathe and take a dip at a very affordable price.

At El Tranco we are a company dedicated to adventure sports and activities located in the middle of Sierra de Cazorla . For all this we could not miss the opportunity to organize routes and excursions around our surroundings to discover nature in all its splendor.

Some of the itineraries that we have prepared are:

• Sunset route : after riding a boat, we will enter the mainland to meet the inhabitants of the area. Our guides will show us the way while they tell us some facts and anecdotes about the flora and fauna of the area.

• Night route : the ideal time to discover what the forests of El Tranco hide is at night. You will listen to the nocturnal birds and, if you come in season, to the deer in the bellowing. Our monitors will teach you to identify the claims and the silhouettes of each of the species.

• Initiation route to flora : designed to get to know the vegetation of the Sierra del Segura and Cazorla in detail.

• Amphibian and reptile observation route: we left early to catch unexpectedly these mysterious animals that exert a strange attraction on people. One of the children's favorite excursions.

Don't forget to bring comfortable clothes and water to hydrate yourself. After finishing the activity you will be able to eat in our restaurant known for modernizing the typical gastronomy of the place. A good plan for a special day.

At El Tranco we have conditioned our facilities so that you can practice one of the favorite activities of many families: archery .

This sport consists of shooting with an arrow towards the center of a target. The closer the arrow is to the center the better. Its origin comes from the fact that both the bow and arrows were a very useful weapon in ancient times to hunt or even attack enemies.

It is an activity that requires a lot of concentration, balance and, above all, good eyesight. Our instructors will help you develop each of these skills so that you can become a professional archer.

You can rent the material and practice at your own pace, receive private classes or attend group lessons in which you can even compete with the rest of your companions.

You can visit us every day in the afternoon , starting at 5.30pm. On weekends there are also morning sessions since the influx of people is greater.

This activity is suitable for all audiences but we recommend that minors come accompanied by an adult.

In El Tranco we have several activities to spend a full day and one of the star attractions is the 140-meter zip line , do you dare to try it? In addition, we have a climbing wall so you can practice climbing outdoors and put yourself to the test. Of course, you will always have the supervision of one of our monitors.

As soon as you arrive, we will introduce you to your instructor , he will be in charge of showing you the facilities and commenting on the safety rules that you must follow so that the activity is carried out correctly and safe. Afterwards, he will put the harness on you and give you some brief exercises to climb quickly and without injuring you. Once at the top, all you have to do is let yourself go and slide down the cable. You'll have a blast!

Here we perform a canyoning activity that runs along the Guadalquivir River a few kilometers from its birth . In this descent of ravines we will find a large number of pools with crystalline waters and different waterfalls.

This activity does not require any previous experience, so if you want to start in this discipline and you are from 8 years old , you will not have any problem if you know how to move easily, know how to swim and of course want to live a Unforgettable experience among the rocks and river paths that run through the Natural Park.

In El Tranco we have been behind us for several years and many dips offering the best adventure sports in the Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas Natural Park. Within this natural enclave is the source of one of the most important rivers in the peninsula, the Guadalquivir River. Another advantage of spending a new and unforgettable vacation is being able to do active tourism while we release adrenaline and get away from big cities to mix with nature.

In this sense, one of our specialties is rafting. A water boat for groups that consists of an inflatable raft with oars and that you will have to control in the middle of rapids and different currents while you descend through the river towards lower heights with calmer waters. In the Alto Guadalquivir our activity was born and our professional guides direct the course, in full collaboration with the group where we will travel nine kilometers of white water from Puente Agustines to Puente Ortega,
