In the different climbing courses that we offer, you can take the opportunity to learn an exciting and fun descent technique known as abseiling.

For example, in the wall self-rescue course we will teach you to abseil in different more extreme situations, with the aim of preparing for any type of improvisation that may arise, even in the event that a partner was injured and could not descend through the mountain alone.

This learning takes place in the Totes region and requires previous climbing experience to be able to do it, since in order to go down, you must first know how to go up.

It is an essential descent system for climbing enthusiasts, since after an arduous climb, the best way to slow down is to do so by abseiling. It is not a complicated technique to learn and it serves as a good form of adrenaline rush while resting.

At Guies de Montserrat we have a wide range of hiking excursions for both children and adults to enjoy this activity and thus be able to disconnect from the stress of everyday life.
