Matarraña Tourism takes you to the heart of this region to carry out activities such as:

• Guided tours : through the center of Valderrobres, through the ham drying area or through the water cave. Didactic visits of between 2 and 3 hours depending on the case that have the objective that the client leaves with something new learned. On the route through Valderrobres you will get to know the old town, the castles and the most important churches in the area.

• 4x4 routes : in a fantastic off-road vehicle you will go with a driver guide who will teach you the most important things about this town. We have two cars, one for up to 7 seats and the other for 5. A comfortable way to get to know a part of Teruel.

• Bicycle rental : a route with or without a guide along the Val de Zafán Greenway. We will leave at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. or 3:30 p.m. from Valderrobles from one of our touring or mountain bikes. You can also rent bikes for children.

Above all we want your holidays to be special, that is why our activities are quiet and intended to be enjoyed with family or friends. In addition, after carrying out the activities we will take you to the best taverns in the place to offer you a vermouth and a tasting of typical foods.

At Turismo Matarraña 4x4 Routes we are as fond of this type of vehicle as we are of the nature of Teruel . We offer the rental of an SUV in a guided tour in which you will go with a driver who will know the route perfectly.

We have two vehicles for you to do one of these routes:

• Valderrobres : a 2-hour route that will depart from Valderrobres, passing through places such as Torre del Compte, La Fresneda, Virgen La Piedra or the Salt de La Portellada. Finally we will arrive again at Valderrobres and we will get to know the most typical products of the area. It is the most economical.

• Places of the Matarraña Region : we wrap ourselves within this region with the aim of discovering all its spaces. It lasts 3 hours since we have a lot to see. Iberian settlements, huge viaducts, sanctuaries, etc.

• Ports of Beceite and Tortosa : this route is much quieter than the previous one in the sense that we will pay more attention to the pure nature of these places, knowing the landscapes of these ports and the exact point where separate the communities of Catalonia, Aragon and Valencia. It lasts approximately 4 and a half hours.

Our vehicles have 7 and 5 seats each. It is mandatory to go with our guide, who will occupy one of these places. If you are more than that number, you can rent the two SUVs.

Every day from 9:30 in the morning you can leave with us from Valderrobres to do the Val de Zafán Greenway. Matarraña Tourism Bicycle Rental , however, gives you the opportunity to do this route with or without a guide.

This route is a great opportunity for you with family or friends to discover the nature that will be presented to us by this old railway line that has been recovered not long ago to link Puebla de Hijar with Tortosa. You will go from being in Aragon to being in Catalonia in no time.

The Greenway has become an increasingly common path among cyclists in these towns. That is why we advise you to come and enjoy this experience as it has a lot to offer you.

Rent one of our bikes. We have mountain bikes, touring bikes or children's bikes. We can take the bike to the point you want. If you want to go out with one of our guides, we offer you routes at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Come with your family or with your group of friends to do one of these routes:

• La Cueva del Agua : located in the municipality of Fuentespaldas, this cave has become a mandatory place to visit within Teruel. To see La Coveta de l´aigua it will be necessary to wear special or mountain footwear as we will go through easy to walk paths but with many rocks and unevenness. Also take a coat as the temperature inside the cave is lower. After the visit we will give you a free vermouth and a tasting of products from the Matarraña region.

• Ham drying room : during a weekend in April you will be able to learn in this 45-minute visit how the hams of the Teruel Denomination of Origin are obtained. A view in which we will learn a lot since we will observe from the birth of the pig to the sale of the ham. We will focus on the production and curing of ham.

• Valderrobres : during the months of March and April you can go to see the old town, the churches and the castles of this town. You will enjoy a tasting of products after having seen the Church of Santa María la Mayor, the Bergós portal or that of San Roque. The visit will last two hours and you can leave at 11 in the morning or at 17 in the afternoon.
