In We Are Canyoneers we take advantage of winter days to leave equipped with snowshoes in the Pyrenees from our base in Huesca. They are excursions in levels 1 and 2 which allows the participation of both those who start and those who have already started in this modality.
Each of these routes usually has a half-day duration, although they can be extended up to several days depending on the place you want to reach. We leave from Aínsa to head towards the valleys of Ordesa , walk among the snowy paths of Benasque , get to know the area of Chistáu or walk with snowshoes in the Tena Valley .
For the expeditions through the Aragonese Pyrenees we carry a qualified guide and a van for support work with capacity for 9 seats. We include the corresponding insurance, we lend you the rackets and canes and we take care of taking a photo report during the hours we spend together.
We do not ask for a special physical form or a specific minimum age because on each occasion we will adapt the tour to your group, whether you are a family or all adults. What we do recommend is that you bring a small backpack with water and something to eat for a picnic when we stop to rest.

In Huesca there is also space and places to practice kayaking in reservoirs and rivers of calm waters. In We Are Canyoneers you have the opportunity to paddle in a high-end kayak and participate in the excursions we make from the town of Aínsa , to the northeast of the capital of Oslo. < / p>
Suitable from 4 years of age , we will make a route through the Mediano reservoir and through the Congosto de Entremón , a narrow corridor of water in the region of Sobrarbe . Being calm waters, it is not necessary to have previous experience, so the guide will also teach and teach the whole family how to be on the boat, how to take the oars and how to use them to follow him during the route.
These basic techniques are very simple and easy to learn, so your attention will be focused on the landscape so wild and full of rocks, vegetation and animals that is part of this part of the province. The monitor knows the land better than anyone else and will interpret the fauna and flora of the region, such as eagles , bonebreakers , kites, vultures in the air; sarrios , wild boars and roe deer on the ground; and trout and barbos in the water, among many other species that live among the pines , firs , beech and multitude of flowers.
I will also tell you the geological heritage of the area, very interesting, mostly when we cross the congosto surrounded by rocks.
In addition, we will make stops to rest, have a snack and even jump to swim in the reservoir to refresh your muscles and mind.
Dare to go kayaking in Aínsa.

You have already found in Huesca an activity as frantic as rafting in the High Pyrenees . We organize this whitewater adventure very close to the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park , in the town of Aínsa . In We Are Canyoneers we have specialized in this kind of extreme sports, where coming with family and friends is a success.
In the rafting there are between 6 and 8 people, guided by a monitor with qualification and experience, while you descend avoiding obstacles and following the strong current of water of two rivers that descend through the Pyrenees: the Ara (only in spring) and the Ésera (in spring and summer).
In addition to enjoying the company, the spectacular landscape when the sun rises in the north of Aragon and the tension and adrenaline release of an unsurpassed descent, we will make a photo report of the entire route with your Faces in the rapids, plus an appetizer of Oscanese food and drink after the activity.
The pneumatic raft we use at all exits is high-end, which guarantees safety in both rivers. In the descent of the Ésera there is a family stretch in which children can also go, but the second, called "Pyramids", can only be done by those over 14 years.
As for the Ara, the activity is for people over 16 , traveling along the river between the towns of Broto and Torla, when the water has thawed after winter.
Dare to go rafting in We Are Canyoneers!
