Description of Slash Surf School Gijón

Slash Surf School Gijón is the 1st surf school in Gijón. We are located on San Lorenzo Beach, in front of staircase 10, a meeting point for generations of surfers in the city for decades.

San Lorenzo is the urban beach with the highest number of waves on the entire Cantabrian coast, from the left of the campsite, passing through "el Mongol", to the left of "la Roca", and an extensive sandy area of more than 2km. with beach waves that end on the right of San Pedro.

The gentle slope of the sandy beach makes it ideal for beginner courses. We teach surf courses throughout the year and for all levels, initiation, improvement and competition. We have the best specific material for the development of the classes, with which we hope you start enjoying this exciting sport with us in a fun and safe way.

The facilities at Slash Surf School Gijón are the best in Asturias, we have more than 400m2. changing rooms: hot water showers, toilets, lockers, cloakroom, free Wi-Fi zone, audiovisuals... All our instructors have official qualifications (Surf Monitors by the M.E.C. and Aquatic Rescue) and are among the best in the country for their great experience.

We have an insurance policy with Mapfre for both Civil Liability and Accidents. At the school we work very seriously to ensure that your stay with us is the most fun.
