AWA Watersports La Herradura

At AWA Watersports we are a company in which, mainly, we are dedicated to training in nautical sports . At our headquarters in La Herradura, located in Granada , we are specialists in paddle surfing and kayak .

If you want to practice any of these activities, do not hesitate to contact us, we will put all the means at your fingertips. We have introductory courses but we have also organized training for those users who have some experience but want to continue progressing.

The paddle surfing courses we offer are the following:

• Initiation courses (I and II): you will know the material, the paddling technique and the safety position. You will also learn to control the direction and the realization of turns.

• Basic course (III): you will know the waves and learn to stabilize with the paddle.

In addition, we carry out crossings through Cabo de Gata, Nerja or Maro for people from 10 years old, either with SUP boards or by kayak . We can also rent you the material so that you can enjoy the experience to your liking.

Our team is made up of qualified instructors who enjoy their work and, above all, pass on their knowledge. They are in charge of looking for the best spots and choosing the leading material on the market.

In addition to our permanent activities, we can organize extra tailor-made experiences only for groups. Tell us what you are thinking and we will organize it.

At AWA Watersports we offer you the possibility of getting to know the coasts of Granada with a means of transport that is gaining more followers every year: the kayak .

We are located on the La Herradura Promenade, in Granada , on one of the most beautiful coasts in the area. So our location can't be beat. In our center you will find a large team made up of specialized monitors that will help you choose the material that best suits your circumstances: individual or two-seater kayak, life jackets, paddles, ... we will provide you with everything you need.

You can choose to rent the kayak and sail at your own pace, choosing the destination and duration of the excursion yourself, or sign up for one of the crossings that we do every day .

The routes usually pass through Cabo de Gata , Nerja or Maro , spectacular landscapes that hide sea caves, caves and beautiful coves. During the excursion we will make stops to rest, bathe and take photos. It will be a unique adventure!

It is not necessary to have previous experience since the kayak is very easy to handle, even so our monitors will be happy to help you if necessary.

Don't forget to bring a swimsuit and change clothes.

At AWA Watersports La Herradura we are on the La Herradura promenade, in Granada . An area close to several spots ideal for practicing paddle surfing , the current fashionable water sport. We are experts in organizing courses that allow you to get started and improve your technique in this activity.

The levels are as follows:

• Course for beginners (I) : you will know the material and you will learn to analyze a spot . In addition, we will teach you the basic postures to maintain balance and start the progression.

• Introductory course (II) : you will design your own warm-up exercises and we will show you some guidelines for choosing your own material. The paddling technique, the control of the direction and the realization of turns will be the aspects in which we will focus the most.

• Basic course (III) : we will show you the different types of waves and how to stabilize yourself with the help of rowing. At the end of the course you will control the paddling of the wave and the positioning.

If you prefer, you can also sign up for one of the crossings that we organize through Cabo de Gata, Nerja or Maro . You only need to be 10 years or older and of average physical condition. You will discover places of great beauty, with crystal clear waters and a whole circuit of caves. A world that you could not imagine!

In our facilities you can clean yourself after the activity, your comfort is one of the aspects that we take care of the most.
