At BORK You our specialty is nature routes and water sports; kayak, paddle surf, boat routes... In addition, we teach classes in different disciplines so that you can improve your skills and expand your training in the sport you choose.

If you are planning a trip to Lisbon and you are a fan of water sports, we have a very interesting proposal for you. On the coast of Oeiras, less than 30 minutes from the capital, you can enjoy fun kayak routes perfect to share with your family or friends.

For kayak outings, the meeting point will be at the Oeiras Marina marina, where the Tagus merges into the waters of the Atlantic. From there an original route will begin, touring different beaches and visiting from the water some of the most important towers and maritime fortresses in the area, such as the São João fort. das Maiasalso known as the Oeiras fort.

We have been organizing kayak routes for more than three decades and we have a great team of professionals. Our instructors are certified by the Portuguese Canoe Federation and will be in charge of accompanying you throughout the adventure, with the aim that you can enjoy it to the fullest and with all the safety guarantees.

Kayaks are very similar to canoes, although a two-bladed paddle is used instead of one as in canoes. Additionally, in a kayak you will go closer to the water, which makes it a much more stable boat, so you should not worry if it is your first time. You will not need previous experience or training to enjoy the activity to the fullest.

The meeting point for departures will be at the Oeiras Marina. From there we organize excursions to different areas of the coast such as the Bugio Lighthouse or the Belém Tower, a beautiful Manueline-style military fortress located at the mouth of the river. Tagusand which was built at the beginning of the 16th century as a guard post at the entrance to Lisbon.

We do not offer you conventional walks by the sea, but rather experiences with which you will be amazed while enjoying the beaches and special places that Portugal offers along this area of the coast. You can venture into a day of tourism completely relaxed, letting yourself be carried away by the tide and visiting some of the most emblematic places in the concelho de Oeiras.

The icing on the cake will come at the end of the ride, where all participants will toast on board the boat with a typical wine from the area. You won't need good weather to enjoy one of the most fun sports you can practice in the water and especially on the beach. If you are going to spend a few days in Lisbon and you have a swimsuit, you already meet all the necessary requirements to spend an entertaining day practicing paddle surf.

You can find our headquarters in the Oeiras Marina, half an hour east of Lisbon. While practicing paddle surfing you will be able to discover from the sea the Farol Forte de São Julião da Barra, the highest point of the Saint Julián Fortress which is located at the same entrance of the coast to the Tajo estuary.

We are specialized in water sports, with more than 30 years of experience we try to provide our clients with days full of fun and learning. We have a great team of expert professionals who will help you improve your technique while ensuring your safety. You can choose to participate in our SUP classes both in the morning and early afternoon.

If you have never practiced paddle surfing before, no problem. Basically it does not have a great technical difficulty, but although it is a relatively simple sport, the advice of our instructors will come in very handy.

In addition to being able to boast of having discovered the gastronomy, monuments and architecture that awaits you in the city of Lisbon, you will be able to spend a very entertaining day along the coast of Oeiras while practicing strong>stand up paddle in the best company.
