Club Mistral

Club Mistral was born in 1985 as a school with the aim of promoting the practice of such exciting aquatic adventure sports as kitesurfing and windsurfing using the constant wind that exists in the areas. beaches of Tarifa in Cádiz.

Today we continue in this line, teaching courses on Valdevaquero beach in Tarifa. We also have centers distributed in other parts of the globe, being one of the leading companies in this field.

Both the kitesurfing and windsurfing courses take you to the maximum technical level starting from the first notions on the beach. In 2-hour classes every day in small groups to learn better.

In our two centers in Tarifa you can rent material of either type so you can go out to sea yourself and face the waves independently.

Club Mistral Tarifa offers you some kitesurfing courses on the Valdevaqueros beach in Tarifa that can be your springboard to enjoy a sport for a long time. aquatic that with the help of the wind makes us almost fly among the waves of the sea.

The kitesurfing learning process is made up of these essential steps that you will have to take to become a reliable kiter:

• Learn how to handle the kite and know how to fly it
• Know how to take the kite out of the water and make it fly into the sea (body drag)
• Waterstart starting to use the board in the water and surf on it
• Navigation in both directions
• Kitesurf rental with monitor supervision

Each part usually lasts about 2 hours, the time necessary to assimilate the knowledge and skills well.

You can learn kitesurfing with our3 learning levels: Beginner Kiter, Intermediate and Advanced.

Valdevaqueros beach, the most famous in Tarifa, is the place where the Club Mistral Cádiz school is located where we teach you all the secrets of windsurfing, one of the star modalities in terms of water sports.

From 0 experience we train you in windsurfing with our courses:

• Beginner level: Techniques such as tacking or upwind, practice in light winds, use of the harness and beachstart.
• Intermediate level: Progress in beginner level techniques.
• Advanced level: Introduction to jibing, jumping, various freestyle maneuvers, etc.

We have made sessions of maximum 2 hours per day.

The groups will not exceed 6 people per monitor to bring teaching closer to each student.

In the mornings we do the introductory courses since the wind is lighter and in the afternoon we take the more advanced courses.
