Vencinautic Canoeing allows you to enjoy an activity that is as quiet as it is exciting. We are located in San Miguel de Bernuy, where we can navigate through gorges and reach the Las Vencías reservoir.

Minutes before starting the tour we will distribute the equipment to the group and we will give you different recommendations with which we will make the activity a success. During the itinerary, which can be extended to the Villa de Fuentidueña dam, you will be able to observe griffon vultures, golden eagles as well as a great quantity of fauna and flora.

In addition, you will be able to discover diverse landscapes with ancient ruins as well as historical monuments. The Convent of Los San Pedros or the hermitage of Los San Martínes are some examples. All this from the water, where you will navigate in the most relaxing way possible, without rushing, simply enjoying the landscape.

When we return we will do it in the opposite direction to the course of the water, but do not worry, because the waters are so calm that you will not notice it. You will not need previous experience to carry out this activity and you will simply have to heed the recommendations of the monitor , bring comfortable clothes and shoes, swimsuit, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc.

We have various ornithology routes with which you can discover the birds that inhabit the surroundings of San Miguel de Bernuy and learn all its secrets:

Northern Sickles of Duratón

With this half-day excursion in which we will have an itinerary of about 8 kilometers, you will be able to observe the rock birds in the area. We will go through the canyon that the Duratón has formed over the years and that has turned the walls into great escarpments, where a large number of birds live, such as the griffon vulture, the retriever chough or the golden eagle.

Wetlands of Cantalejo

A route to observe aquatic birds lasting approximately 4 hours. Among our landscapes, some lagoons stand out in which the life of endless wetlands has begun that welcome mallards, herons, kites, harriers ... Depending on the time of year in which we are we can enjoy the visit of some or other birds.

Castrojimeno and Carrascal

Here we will be able to glimpse during the 12 km of this itinerary the rock birds and those found in the moors, such as griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures, choughs, falcons ...

The Mothers of the Botijas River

This 8 km route will take you through a place full of streams that produce rafts, where reeds or cattails grow and among which we can see lilies, washerwomen or capirotas. In the springs of the area we can observe sparrows or goldfinches and flying over hawks and eagles.

We will give you explanations about the bird fauna of the flora and we will solve your doubts.

Vencinautic Hiking offers you various options so that you can discover the nature that surrounds our region, its fauna, flora, landscapes ... All guided by our monitors with explanations about what you will discover on each route .

To be able to practice this activity it is necessary that you come with comfortable clothes and shoes that allow you to walk through the countryside in total comfort. It is important that you bring water from home so that you can avoid the temptation to drink from the river or streams, as this water is not suitable for human consumption.

The hiking routes that we propose are:

• Bernuy - Las Vencías - Fuentidueña. With this tour, aimed especially for those who already have experience in this activity as it has a medium-high difficulty, you can enjoy the landscapes of the area for about 3 and a half hours. We will pass through the Hoces Septentrionales del Duratón and the Las Vencías reservoir.

• Path of the 2 rivers. This excursion is aimed especially at those who have no experience, as it is a very simple route. We will start at the Casa del Parque, we will pass by the viewpoint of the Virgen de la Peña, we will cross bridges such as Picazos, Talcano or Palmarejos and, at the end of the tour, we will return to the starting point.

To carry out the excursions you will only have to ask us for information and we will specify a date.
