Description of Viento y Mar

At Viento y Mar we take you out to sea for an unforgettable date with marine mammals.

We will begin the trip at dawn, the best time to set out to meet species such as pilot whales and the well-known dolphins. Our destination will be the Alboran Sea that will take us to points such as Cabo de Gata and the Tropical Coast, close to the African continent and the Moroccan coast.

How do we do it?

- We previously studied the terrain to find the most frequent passageways for marine fauna.

- We will establish specific behavioral guidelines to avoid damaging the habitat we are visiting. One of them is to maintain a certain distance when approaching the animals.

- To be prepared, we will take clothing that will keep us warm and footwear suitable for the deck of the boat, that will not slip.

- You should not forget your camera and binoculars so as not to miss a single detail of this unique experience.

Our rates are calculated according to the time you want to spend with us and the number of participants. Ask us.

Viento y Mar invites you to come and enjoy with us the dolphins and other cetaceans that inhabit the waters of Granada. We will be able to see birds, turtles and a lot of other species of marine species.

Although cetaceans can be seen anywhere, they have their favorite areas, which are the ones we will go to to have a better chance of seeing them and that more come to meet us. Once they see the boat they will swim by our side and we assure you that they will no longer be separated from us. You will be able to photograph them and enjoy their beauty and sympathy.

We carry out outings that range from a duration of half a day to several days to see the maximum number of possible species. You just have to tell us your preferences and we will put at your disposal the best boat and the best guide for you to go out in search of these animals.

At Viento y Mar we have a wide range of boats, completely at your disposal, so that you can rent them whenever you want and go sail .

You have the option to rent the boats for a day, for the weekend or a full week. You can also choose if you want a boat skipper to accompany you and be the one who takes care of the driving and maintenance of the boat or if you prefer to go out alone with no one involved. But, of course, to be able to go sailing alone you will have to be in possession of the official certificate of skipper.

You can organize the outing completely to your liking and say which places you want to visit, in what order and on which days. You will have to do the shopping for the days that you are going to be at sea and, do not worry, because our kitchens are fully equipped so you can make all kinds of food. Likewise, in the case of taking a skipper, you will be in charge of their maintenance.

We also have excursions completely organized by different parts of the Spanish geography. Check our offers and choose the one that best suits your wishes.
