Both disciplines have different techniques and tricks, and some consider them almost different sports. In any case, with the help of Dablam instructors you will be able to start in these modalities or, if you already have experience, continue to perfect your technique.

Dablam Esquí is a Catalan ski school that works in the Baqueira-Beret, Boi-Taull, Tavascan and Gran Pallars resorts. In all seasons it offers courses for different ski modalities:

- Freeride: freeride skiing refers to off-piste skiing. To be able to do this activity it is advisable to have a good skiing technique on the piste. Off-piste is much more fun and exciting, but also more unpredictable, so you have to know how to react at all times and to any situation that may arise.

- Splitboard: splitboard is a modality that combines skiing with snowboarding. Specifically, they are two skis that can be put together to make a snowboard, in such a way that for the ascents the skis are used as if it were Nordic skiing while for the descents they are put together to form a table.

- Heliskiing: skiers with a very good technical level both on piste and off piste can do heliskiing. This modality consists of going up to the top of the mountain by helicopter to go down skiing. Groups must be at least 8 people.

Dablam Escalada is located in the town of Tavascan, in the province of Lleida, just over two hours by car from the city of Lleida. The course program includes: rope progression techniques, snow corridor progression techniques, mixed terrain progression techniques that mix rock with snow and even earth, both snow and rock anchors, winter mountain progression techniques when there is more ice and snow, use and maintenance of the necessary equipment, etc.
