Since it was founded in 1984, the Roncal Valley Ski School has been offering cross-country ski courses and classes for three decades from beginners or novices to experts. The school offices are located in the Navarrese town of Isaba, a distance of an hour and a quarter by car from Pamplona.

With the school's qualified teachers you will be able to giveclasses both in groups and individually. The former are somewhat cheaper and have the advantage that you can meet people with the same level of skiing as you. Individual classes serve above all to progress much more quickly because you have the attention and support of the teacher at all times.

If you have never done cross-country skiing before you have to try it. Every year there are more and more fans of this sport for different reasons: it is a totally environmentally friendly activity, it can be practiced on slopes but also off slopes, it is a very healthy exercise and it is easy to learn. Located in Pamplona , we have several modalities of this sport:

• Quiet 3-hour walks long. Accompanied by a guide, you will explore the vicinity of the ski center while enjoying the winter scenery. Also, if you are a group of more than 10 people, you will have a discount!

• Initiation to snowshoeing . A small excursion for those looking for a first contact with this sport. This modality is available all holidays, long weekends, and weekends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Also, if you have eaten at the El Ferial restaurant, you will pay less!

• Night excursions. If you prefer to enjoy a walk through the snow under the moonlight, we recommend you try night snowshoes. It is available on specific dates, tell us your availability and we will tell you which is the closest departure.

All the exits are carried out accompanied by an expert monitor , who will provide you with the rackets and poles to be able to slide through the terrain. In addition, they include accident insurance.

If you wish, after the excursion you can use the showers and the sauna with prior request, they have views of the spectacular slopes !
