Centre Equestre La Selva

For those of us who are part of the La Selva Equestrian Center team, the sport of horseback riding is nothing more than one of the wide possibilities that horses offer us. We see the animal as someone who stays with us as a companion, not as an instrument of leisure or work. Taking care of the horses with the respect they deserve we enjoy:

- Equestrian excursions: from the farm you can directly reach paths in a natural environment that link the different farmhouses in the area, full of local history and culture. Among our routes, the Volcà de la Crosa and its surroundings stand out.

- Children's camps: equestrian camps for participants up to 15 years old who are at least 7 years old. They are organized when the summer holidays and Easter holidays begin as this is when young people and children have the most free time. /p>

- Group celebrations: from birthdays with inflatable activities to extracurricular days for visiting schools. The horses will become the central element of any option you want to spend in our company with the most careful organization.

At the Centre Equestre La Selva we consider the horse as another friend that allows people of all ages to open up to new leisure possibilities. This is the perspective under which we develop our horse riding routes from the farm we have in one of the most pleasant locations to come into contact with nature in the province of Girona.

We prepare the excursions to go out in groups and observe the multiple benefits that result from the relationship with the horses and the environment at the same time. These itineraries:

- They pass through rural roads: we will ride through spaces where tranquility predominates which, in addition to making us enjoy ourselves, will allow us to be safer away from traffic. We will see how classic farmhouses built centuries ago accompany us along the way.

- They will take us to the Volcà de la Crosa: one of the destinations that we are going to recommend the most because it is a natural treasure that is not known by most visitors but that surprises everyone who comes close. until him.

We also take care of car rides that are very fun for birthdays and celebrations that you entrust to us.

At the La Selva Equestrian Center we provide parents with the ideal proposal for their little ones to spend their holidays whether it is Easter or summer. Instead of letting those days go by without further ado, we open our equestrian centers so that they can learn new concepts, especially the relationship with animals and nature.

The equestrian camps that we organize admit children who have already turned 7 years old and young people up to the age of 15 can participate in them. They are developed in our own facilities on the Santa Coloma Farners Highway, belonging to the municipality of Riudarenes. The objectives of these programs are:

- The acquisition of new responsibilities : by assigning a horse to the student we get him to perceive the need to take care of it. This sense of responsibility will benefit you when it comes to your personal growth and you can extend it to school, home and other aspects of your life.
