TRAC Terapies i Rutes Amb Cavalls

TRAC (Terapies i Rutes Amb Cavalls) is a company dedicated to various activities with horses. Basically we are dedicated to sports and adventure riding and therapeutic activities with horses.

Within the equestrian sports activities, we offer the possibility of horse riding classes for beginners or for people who want to improve their technique. Horseback riding routes from one hour to several days in duration. Dressage and natural riding, as well as courses and workshops on different topics.

The therapeutic sessions are divided into three. PAE (equine-assisted psychotherapy) Equine therapy and Coaching with horses.

Currently at TRAC we are working with people who suffer from depression, stress, drug addictions, addictions and dependencies, ADHD, eating disorders, etc.
We also work with people and groups, both companies and families, through coaching with horses.

We carry out workshops and courses on emotional intelligence with horses, family constellations with horses, yoga and self-knowledge with horses, personal and emotional growth with horses, etc.

All therapeutic activities, courses and workshops are carried out with an equine expert Jordi Buchaca and a mental health specialist, Miguel Martin. Jordi is a pioneer in the introduction of PAE in the treatment of addictions in Spain and has more than 20 years of experience with horses. He founded and directs TRAC alongside Susana Roca. Miguel is director of FORMASER and a psychologist among many other therapeutic specializations.

Our horses are raised and live in a herd and in freedom throughout the year. This makes them balanced and stress-free animals that make them ideal for both the practice of sports riding at all levels, as well as for therapeutic sessions and, above all, they are much safer horses.

Every year, together with Mas Tubert, rural tourism rated with 4 ears, we carry out horse riding camps for children and adolescents from 7 years to 16 years, in 5-day shifts that begin the last week of June, until the last week of July. The kids enter on Sunday afternoon and finish on Friday afternoon. During these days, they will not only learn to ride a horse, but they will also learn to care for and take responsibility for their companion that will be assigned to them from day one. The groups are small, maximum 14 children per shift.

From TRAC you can take horseback routes and guided excursions lasting from one hour to several days so that you can find just the plan for your free time that you are looking for.

We work with prices per hour and, from 2 hours or more and for groups, you can check the offers we make special for you.

TRAC is located within the EIN, which is the acronym that identifies it as an Area of Natural Interest within the upper Garrotxa Camprodón. We also belong to the Preferential Horse Zone which is unique in all of Europe.

You can enjoy forests of ancient oaks and visit typical Catalan Romanesque buildings, such as the Hermitage of San Valenti de Salarsa or the Church of Bolós.

Our horses develop freely. This makes them completely stress-free and very reliable animals.

It is an experience that you will not forget and will repeat.

These routes can be done by people who have never had contact with horses or for expert riders. If you wish, you can also take riding lessons before leaving. We adapt to you.

Not only will they learn to ride a horse, an activity for which our riders will be in charge of teaching them all the theory and transmitting their knowledge, but they will also be assigned a horse that they will have to take care of from the first moment. In this way, they will learn to respect nature and value the environment.

Every day they will receive theoretical classes where they will be taught the morphology of the horse, the behavior of these animals, the different riding and dressage techniques, how to put horseshoes on them, what their vital stages are and They will know the body and emotional language of the animal.

In the practical classes they will start horse riding at first on our track, they will learn the step, trot and gallop, and then they will take routes through the Vall de Bolós, in the middle of nature full of forests and trees.

Our horses are raised in freedom, so the relationship they have with us and with the children is much more natural, since they show themselves as they are.

Children will also learn to live with other children and have fun in a different, much healthier way, in a natural environment. We will combine horse riding with other activities.

Children will have to bring a towel, swimsuit, comfortable shoes, a raincoat, hiking boots, fleece lining and comfortable clothing. We will take care of the rest.
