Escola de Mar Montgat

The Escola de Mar Montgat is a Catalan school that aims to promote and vindicate sailing as a tool for dissemination and social and cultural promotion. Its three values? Sustainable growth, guide for life and education in values.

They have sailing courses, rowing or windsurfing classes for adults, children and people of all levels. You can also enjoy their camps in winter and summer.

• Sailing course . In the sailing classes you will be accompanied by a monitor who will guide you and help you manage the boat. People of all ages can participate. • Camps . The camps are held on weekends and in summer also during the week. Maritime activities will change every week, always taking into account the weather and sea conditions. The Escola de Mar Montgat is located in the maritime club of the same name, very close to Barcelona . There you can enjoy sailing courses in any variant: Catamaran , Windsurf or Catalan Skate . But now you can also enjoy their Casals all year round, not just in summer.

Thanks to their Casals, where they will offer you basic tools to access the sea without risks as well as the necessary knowledge, you can enjoy the sea every day of the year. The camps are aimed at children from three to seventeen years old and are held on Saturdays and Sundays from eleven to two in the afternoon. In summer the camps are held from July to September.

The activities change from week to week, adapting the activity to the weather. It is about enjoying sailing, rowing or surfing but also promoting values in the participants such as respect and companionship as well as responsibility at sea. You can sign up for the camps for a whole year, for a quarter, for weeks or for individual days. You choose!
