Level I canyoning in the Calera river 3 hours

If you've been wanting to try canyoning for a long time, we can't think of a better way to make our debut than the Calera ravine, a 3-hour progression designed for any kind of adveturer. And also, in an environment that will amaze you for the beauty that surrounds it.

It is a dry ravine that goes from the Covalanas bridge, very close to the Cantabrian town of Ramales de la Victoria. Its level of difficulty is low so it can be easily covered in 3 hours.

At the foot of Mount Zalama, the Calera River has two clearly differentiated areas where we will use ropes to descend the vertical stretches of the route up to 5 times. But it will be in the second abseiling section where we will find the most amazing part of the entire ravine since it is 15 meters high. Pure adrenaline!

The second part of the ravine is characterized by its large blocks of rock that we will have to climb, although it is not always the same since each year these blocks move for natural reasons. But in total there are no more than 150 meters of slope.

We will be bringing all the technical material that we are going to use, taking care at all times of putting the security material on you and indicating the best way to advance through the ravine. That is why it is perfect either to enjoy as a family or live an adventure with your family, doing exercise and enjoying the exuberance of the nature in our province.
