We are in the middle of the snow season, and there is a winter activity that you cannot miss.
This is an introductory session to winter mountaineering (level I), which we will carry out in the heart of the Madrid mountains. We will learn to climb the ice!
We will be in the mountains all day, so you should bring something to eat and water.
In this course we will work on the different techniques to progress in winter mountaineering, the use of ice axes and crampons, self-arrest techniques and notions of nevology, to know how to move in each type of snow.
