Description of British cemetery, aristocrats and spies Madrid
In 1854, the government of Great Britain founded the British Cemetery in Madrid.
After more than a century and a half, members of such well-known families as Bourguignon, Bauer, or Loewe rest in this place. We find ambassadors, consuls, aristocrats, artists, and even spies from the First and Second World Wars, for example, Margarita Taylor, owner of the "Embassy" tea room.
There are tombs of different religions.
You can join us on an unforgettable guided route through this place, to discover its history and, at the same time, part of the history of Madrid, and even of Spain.
We will tell you stories of spies, eternal loves, rich businessmen, and also of fugitives.
Come live this "British" experience, without leaving Madrid!
At least 4 participants must sign up to be able to do the route, or we would have to postpone it.

I have loved the visit. The guide has made it very enjoyable and was very nice. In addition, it was noted that he was well documented. I recommend it 100%. They should put more dates because it is very worth it and it is good that the price includes a donation to restore the tombstones.Review useful for 0 people Did you find this helpful? Yes
