Guided tour in honor of San Isidro labrador

Are you passionate about history and theological culture? If the answer is yes, join us on what is known as the isidril route. An experience that you can enjoy accompanied by a guide through the streets of Madrid.

An experience that will allow you to discover the entire history of San Isidro while you enjoy the city of Madrid and the monuments and buildings in honor of this Saint. On the occasion of his festivity, on May 15 , we will be able to enjoy a day full of culture and history .
This guided route, 2 hours long, will give us the opportunity to learn everything about the life of San Isidro, from the appearance of the body to his canonization . In addition, we will visit emblematic locations dedicated to San Isidro, while we listen to the explanations of the specialized guide who will accompany us throughout the tour.

We will go to the famous Cemetery of San Andrés , where the body of San Isidro appeared, almost 40 years after his death. We will also visit the famous hermitage and meadow of San Isidro, reflected in the painting made by Goya.

How could it be otherwise, we will go to the Collegiate Church of San Isidro, where his Ark is located and we will visit other sites such as the Museum dedicated to this saint, the cemetery and the bridge. Likewise, we will enter the institute that bears his name and the museum dedicated to the character and we will end up enjoying a famous chotis.

Throughout the visit, we will transport ourselves to the 13th century and travel to the 18th century knowing the history that bears the name of San Isidro.
